Featured Projects
In the world of web design, there are always projects that are more memorable than others. My favorite design projects often reflect my creativity & my business strategy combined with client collaboration.
Here are some examples of my favorite projects that demonstrate successful marketing strategy, usability, information architecture, user interaction design and strong visual design:
www.AldeaLofts.com is a real estate site in the new urbanist community of Aldea, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
www.The JourneyWithin.biz uses energy 
psychology for healing that is truly remarkable in its effects. My creativity had a chance to explore my digital paintings from landscape images.
Hansen + Company is an interior design web site. Simple rollovers, flash front page with links to Facebook & Twitter have helped increase Julie’s business.
www.WildsideSounds.com produces sounds for the movie industry. We designed the logo, business cards, stationery, envelopes and the custom web site with Facebook & Twitter pages. A small but fun project.
Claymore Entertainment creates board games. This project had to capture the feel of the game through visual design and through use of animation of the characters portrayed in the game to entice users to want to buy the game prior to its release.
www.JHansenCo.com is designed for a builder to show off his portfolio of projects. This was a fun project integrating his existing logo, adding some flash animation, javascript rollovers and linking up Facebook to his web site.
www.WildSage.net is a rental web site in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The site needed a facelift. We decided to be creative and add a colorful background of one of my digital paintings to bring some “life” to the web site. We also added flash to the front page of images of the rental casitas and add a flash banner on all the inside pages that show the area. Since launching the redesign, the casitas have been rented without any vacancies!
The Village of Taos Ski Valley government website was in need of a facelift in terms of design & functionality. The staff need to be able to update content easily & to have current information on the website with features such as images, slideshow, calendar of events and PDF downloads. The project was developed over time with over 90 pages at launch! Visit the site: vtsv.org
Kachina Mountain Lodge is an environmentally conscious real estate development in Taos Ski Valley New Mexico. Check out the site as it has great photos of the area. With only four cabin sites to be built in 2012 and only 2 remaining sites left to be purchased, this is a great opportunity for a ski-in ski-out mountain retreat. Visit: KachinaMountainLodge.com
